Today, we are talking the New York Metropolitans as we work our way through the top 15 prospects in each and every major league baseball organization.

We are now, this is the 13th of 30, so we're getting close to being halfway done.

If I take a look at the Mets and it comes out officially, the page gets posted at 8 o'clock on Thursday evening.

So getting in a couple of days early, I'll be posting this probably in two or three hours,

so you should get it on Wednesday evening.

If I take a look at the Mets organization, I've been very critical of both New York teams, particularly the Yankees.

I think with Steve Cohen now in charge, I was hopeful.

I think a lot of Mets fans were hopeful that we would have a better organization after,

is the word debacle, the right word to use during the will pond era

just one that was fraught with secrecy and you know they got into the bernie madeoff mess

and claimed they weren't able to spend money on players true or not i don't know i know that

they lost a lot of money with Bernie

Madoff, as many people did. But the Mets seemed to just never be able to push it over the finish

line, particularly was in the 19, 2015 World Series, where they made it and they had when

Matt Harvey was Matt Harvey and Jacob de Grom

was starting to establish himself and they had a really good team and we're not able to push it over.

And now with the new leadership and new ownership coming in, we thought they were going to make

very smart moves and it turns out that there's a lot of secrecy,
