Welcome to Deeper Shades of House 88, the first one in the brand new year,

2025. Happy New Year, my friends, I hope. You made it into this new one in a safe and exciting manner.

Kathy and I went to New Year's party where I also DJed from 11 until 1 and we had such a good time.

Shout out to the Ava crew in Los Angeles.

And yeah, last year ended a little anticlimactic here on Deeper Shades of House.

I thought I had beat the cold, but no, it did come back.

And then the New Year's came around.

I did not feel like recording another show.

So that's why 888 is the first one this year right now. And we're starting with another live set that I recorded

while I was in South Africa at the end of last year this was a month ago December 6th in

Evander, Evander and Pumalanga in South Africa at queues at the Vinyl Fridays party with Tulani the Warrior.

Really cool stuff. I had a good time. I played almost two hours. This is going to be an hour of that set.

And you can hear I packed a lot of my favorites for the three times I played vinyl.

It was the first time I played vinyl in South Africa and it was so much fun.

I want to play a lot more gigs with vinyl records this year.
