welcome back to darn it it's not the 75th episode I thought if we could

do the top 75 players on the 75th episode that would just be glorious and

harmonious but no it's some random number that's that's you know how

you have see is up to like two hundred and seventy two when they used to count one

two three like the Super Bowl I used to say what's going to what's going to happen in 10 years are they

going to have like UFC 272 jokes on me they're just going to go forever in like

40 years it's going to be uFC one thousand two hundred and 14 wow I'm already sidetracked. Today we're going to, today we're going to discuss the 75, I guess

we can call them greatest players in league history. It's the NBA at 75. So they put out a 75th

anniversary team. They put one out. I think they actually put out like a 15th anniversary team, but definitely

put out a 25 and then the NBA at 50 in 1996 was a big deal and now we've

gone another quarter century around the solar system and we're here in

2022 for what is quote unquote the 75th season.

The BAA, the Basketball Association of America kind of got blended into the NBA and we

counted as 75 years. So the task is to come up

with the 75 greatest players ever. We're recording this in September.

Apparently all of the voting has been done. The team will be announced shortly.

And I thought just for mental sanity I would go through and see if I could predict the top 75 players and then of course once that happens you have to figure out if you were to make your own list.

What would that look like? What have I gotten myself into? I can't do this alone. To help me, he's just going to be a fly on the wall and just pester me with as many questions and insights and sanity checks as humanly possible.
