The events I describe are accurate.

I will carry them with me for the rest of my life.

These incidents occurred around mid-summer in 2013 or 2014 in a small town in rural New

Hampshire.

My friend was present for both occurrences and witnessed the same things I did.

The first event took place on a warm summer night.

My friend and I lived in the same town, about two miles away.

At the time, I had my license, and he did not.

So I would drive to his house to hang out and play video games or pick him up and drive back to my place to hang out.
