Kevin just returned from a seven-night cruise on Carnival Venetia out of Port Canaver.

Now, this ship started out in New York, and it's seasonally in central Florida here. So Kevin jumped on one of those cruises. Kevin, welcome back to the show, my friend. Hey Doug, how are you?

Excited to talk about Venetzi here and what you thought of a Florida sailing because we've heard a couple of reviews of the New York cruises.

what made you want to take this seven-nighter during spring break? Well, the itinerary that

offered, you know, kind of eastern outtinery, eastern Korean itinerary, really, you know, good one, you know know one that you don't get to do very often i was central florida you know we've been doing a lot of uh you know short sailings over the year so um it's kind of nice get a longer one to some islands that we haven't been to in a while so this is a little bit different you were talking before we started recording is like this one doesn't have the whale tail and it kind of threw your wife off, right? That's correct. Yeah, you definitely, it looks a little bit different than all the other carnival ships, but, you know, obviously the funnel is a little bit different, but the look of the ship looks very similar to some of their carnals ships. Living in Central Florida, do you do any pre-crues nights by the port or is it a day-of thing for you?

You know, we sometimes do either one, right? So this time we actually did drive over because the

ship didn't actually leave until Sunday. So we did drive over to Cocoa Beach area on Saturday.

You know, we got a nice little hotel right there on the beach,

the courtyard. It's decent, you know, nothing super fancy, but, you know, it's a good location

and got to enjoy, walk down to the Cocoa Beach Pier that we never actually been to yet. And

nothing super to write home about it, I guess you

could say, but it's still a fun little area that kind of hang out and enjoy the area. So how was
