A dilapidated House stood in the heart of a dense forest, unsettling to everyone passing by.

I lived there as a child, but the mysterious aura of the forest kept me at bay, and I never really dared to venture into its depths.

One night, as I lay in bed, a chilling sensation crept over me.

A feeling of being watched consumed me through the darkness,

even though I could see nothing.

It felt like something was staring right out my window. I covered

my window with a pinned-up blanket seeking refuge from the unseen gaze. But the

eerie feeling persisted as if the darkness itself was alive and watching.

We had gotten a cat that we had to get rid of, as in the day it was the sweetest thing on earth, but at night it would turn into a little devil and attack you and just yow all night.

But the eerie occurrences persisted.

Shadowy figures loomed in the hallway.
