Father's Day, on Sunday is the author of a great new book. It's called Girl Dad,

Stories, Lessons and Advice, from Girl Dads and their daughters Madeline Anderson

joins me on the Friday show. So happy to have you here for it. Monday to Thursday,

of course, I do a new segment before my guests or guests, but on Friday and Saturday I do drop

episodes with just usually the guests. And lately I've been dropping these little mini-pods,

little podlets, what I'm calling, can you talk real quick, which is just me and a guest,

no real production, I get right to the guest, and we usually have a 20-minute conversation

or so about one or two small issues or big issues. I don't know why is it small, but I had

Dean Baker doing that with me this week, and I hope you'll go back and listen to that,

was a real special book and idea. I too want to write a similar book about raising daughters,

and I hope to do that someday, as a matter of fact, I was looking to see what was out there

as I'm getting started on my version of Girl Dad, and that's how I found this book and Young

Madeline Anderson, who is recently graduated from University of California, Los Angeles,

with a degree in business economics. She's an author and entrepreneur and a certified Girl
