calm we got Sarah Knight on the show today and this is probably my favorite talk of the whole

week and it's a talk that everybody needs to hear except if you got kids in the car or there's kids

nearby and you know you don't want them to be exposed certain language because Sarah probably

drops the f bomb about two dozen times and this one and I decided just to leave it in because

if I took it out it kind of takes away from the punch and the power of the talk but why do we

need to hear this because this is just one example way too often us human beings say yes to stuff

that we really don't want to do we just say yes for some reason that word just comes out of our

mouth yes and then what happens you get invited to the party you say yes a couple weeks go by

and then the night of the party happens and you're like oh my gosh I don't want to go why did I say

yes to this now I got to get dressed now I got to drive over there now I got to be in a room with a

whole bunch of people I don't even know and be all anxious and stuff why did I say yes to this and

then your your brain starts thinking of all of these random excuses for why you shouldn't go

right well this one passed should I text them is this that's just stop doing that and that's

just be okay declining invitations and that's just one example she's going to get into more I hope

you enjoy this here Sarah we're living in a post tidying society everyone including me has a

story about decluttering their home gathering all of their possessions into the middle of the

floor deciding what brings joy and then bidding farewell to a set of spatulas in pursuit of a

calmer happier life but what if we could gather up all of the other stuff tasks events obligations

relationships and drop it at the curb without a single regret and by doing so be free to focus our

time energy and money on the stuff that really makes us happy well I figured out how to do it
