Fear or faith.

Everybody feels fear, but it's giving into fear that can get us into trouble.

So I'd like to ask you what's winning today, your fear or your faith.

I want to talk to you for just a few moments about finding faith that can face fears. And also let me remind you that we, on January the 25th are beginning a reading club based on my new book

begin again. We're praying urgently for all the many challenges that our country is facing, that our world is facing,

and you're praying also in addition for many personal challenges.

And as a result, fear has become an all-too-familiar acquaintance.

I want us to take a good long look at the time that Jesus faced fear in the garden of

Gessimini. It's the expression of Jesus that really puzzles us.

We've never seen Jesus with his face like this. Cheeks streaked with tears, face flooded and sweat, even rivolates of blood dripping from his chin.

You remember the night.

A scripture says that on the eve of his crucifixion, Jesus went to the Garden of Gassemai.
