1:45.0 | Well, you know, it's funny. I actually, so I didn't get in when I first applied because I had barely squeaked by in high school. |
1:53.0 | I mean, straight D's and most of that was because I had to make it up in summer school. |
1:57.0 | I mean, I was a terrible student unless it was a class that I loved. |
2:01.0 | So of course, Ohio State said, yeah, no thanks, but I appealed it just because it didn't occur to me like except their word on that. |
2:10.0 | And then they let me in. And I appealed it kind of explaining what I was actually doing while I was getting straight D's in high school, which was my mother had had a baby. |
2:17.0 | And so I was really working on it. She was very sick. |
2:19.0 | And I was working a lot. I loved working in the French bakery where I worked. |
2:23.0 | So they let me in, which was amazing. And then I learned just so much. |
