So what I know about your story is that it is about ALS.

ALS is a fatal disease and like a very bad one.

Basically, if you are diagnosed with it, your doctor will probably tell you like you have a fixed amount of time.

You're going to die. Like people can do things to make you more comfortable with that.

The classic thing that you hear is a doctor gives you the diagnosis and says, you know, go home, get your affairs in order.

Right. But your story is about a very different kind of doctor, a very different kind of doctor who's trying to find a cure in a way that is extremely unusual.

Yeah. So his name is Dr. Richard Bedlock and we actually first heard about him from a reporter named Peter Smith.
