0:23.7	John 2, the miracle of water to wine in Cana. We're repeating some verses just for context. Chapter 2
0:31.3	1 says on the third day, there was a wedding at Canaan in Galilee and the mother of Jesus was there.
0:36.1	Jesus also was invited to the wedding with his disciples. When the wine ranilee and the mother of Jesus was there. Jesus also was invited to the
0:37.7	wedding with his disciples. When the wine ran out, the mother of Jesus said to him, they have no wine.
0:43.9	And Jesus said to her, woman, what does this have to do with me? Now, men, do not memorize and quote
0:48.9	that verse out of context. Like when your wife is like, hey, you need to pick kids up from school. And you're like, woman, what does this have to do with me? That's not what that means.

0:57.8	My hour has not yet come.
1:00.8	Now, here's what Jesus is saying.
1:03.1	Jesus was very focused on his mission, and he had a very focused mission. His mission was to come to this planet, to live a perfect life,
1:11.5	to fulfill every promise and prophecy about him in the Old Testament, so that through the shed
1:18.2	blood of the perfect lamb on the cross that Jesus could seek and save the loss, that the reason
1:25.2	that Jesus came was to die for our sin. And the timing of Jesus coming was not
1:31.1	haphazard. In fact, the book of Revelation, chapter 8, lets us know that the lamb was slain before the
1:38.4	foundation of the earth. So it's not like God created everything good and then the devil made it
1:43.3	bad and God said, oh no, what am I going to do to make it good again?
1:46.3	And so he sent Jesus.
1:47.4	That's not how it works.
1:48.6	That from before the foundation of time, the plan was that the son of God would show up on the planet and be the sacrificial lamb for the atonement of all sin.
