We are diving deep down tonight with Kathy McCormack.

She is the first alleged victim of Robert Durst.

Yeah, so quick recap, if you haven't listened to last week's episode, you're probably

going to want to stop and listen to it. Just to fill you in, we started the story of Robert

Durst, which is from the HBO documentary The Jinks, and also the movie

All Good Things with Ryan Gosling and Kirsten Dunst. And we got into it and decided that there

was just so much here that we were going to break it up. So if this, if you're just now tuning into

this and this and this is your first hearing of this, stop and go back and listen to the first one because we are going to pick up with, like Jen said,

the first victim possibly, allegedly, maybe, probably in this story.

And from here, what we do is we take true crimes that

inspired either a documentary, a movie, or a, I guess a forensic files, or anything that

could be on the small screen. Yeah, anything. And we dive deep down into those. All right,

let's get down into the story. Kathy, her full name is

Kathleen McCormick, all of her friends called her Kathy. She was a young, ambitious woman.

She first started out in dental hygiene school, went to nursing school, and we really pick up

the story when she's a little bit older, because there's not a lot of information about her as an individual growing up.

Now, she did have an older brother named Jim McCormick, and he actually interviewed with Dateline.

And in that interview, he said that she wanted to be a doctor.
