the locato family folklore. It's the story about the day my dad decorated our

din with a tree stump. I was just a kid at the time. I want to say I was 11, maybe 12 years of age. I think that was a perfect age to be fascinated with the idea of a tree stump right there in the living room. Over the fireplace was a clock.

Next to the fireplace were the fireplace tools and just to the right of the fireplace tools

was a stump. Awesome, awesome.

That came home from work with it one day. It took up the better portion of the bed of his pickup truck.

And that's where it was. that's where it lay when I first saw it.
