The topic today came to us on a question from our Facebook page and it's something we suspect that every artist has dealt with at some point in their life.

But before our topic, we're going to talk about our weeks for what we call

Lorian, how was your week?

My week was fine, great, so easy, nothing interesting happened. Work-wise, let's see, I am working on a pitch on some IP and when I delivered my take to the company that I'm working with. I kept it very high level in terms of character and I sort of made more of a suggestion of the pilot because I wanted to like here's my take of the world and what it's about and here the

characters and I didn't want to take like 25 minutes I just wanted to be like here's a

12 minute pitch do you like this and so they were on board and then we're like, okay great, we need to know what the pilot is.

So I worked on the pilot this week and what I discovered, you know, I'm actually writing it, you know, you write, I'm outlining it and I'm very detailed and I

realized there were some ideas I had in the pitch that don't work so well when I'm

actually writing the pilot, you know, who a character is when they know what they know.

So I had a lot of fun trying it multiple different ways.
