Matt we're two ministers who love the stories of the Bible we want to tell you

about him and today Todd this will send you right out the door buddy.

Okay because it's like we're going out we're getting sent out.

Matt that's right we are about to hear about a time when Jesus sent out a bunch of disciples.

Now, traditionally when we think of Jesus disciples, we think of his 12 right right and man yeah he had

those 12 and you know maybe they were included in this but these guys are about to

go out before him and prepare the way for Jesus to enter into these communities.

And there's a lot of takeaways from these stories.

But first, Matt, we need to hear the very words of Jesus

as he mobilizes his followers to do the work of the ministry.

Now like you said Matt, yeah he had his 12 disciples but Jesus at this point in his

ministry man he is really developing a follower a followship a followship a following ship the followship of the rings and Jesus chose 72 other disciples.

These were like disciples outside of those original 12, right?

And he gathered them together and he put them in pairs.

Pears is, that's like groups of two, Matt.

That's what that means, okay?

And these were his instructions to them.
