Thank you so much for checking out this episode of Cruise Radio on the road this week. So we'll jump right to it. Staff writer Richard Sims. Hey,

Richard. Hey, Doug. We kick things off with a disturbing report about a waiter being attacked by a

passenger on a cruise ship. Yeah, details are a little bit scarce on this one, but it seems a passenger was on a Mediterranean

cruise, and they were using their drink package to purchase cocktails for other people.

Of course, this is a big no-no.

That's one of the reasons that cruise lines insist that everyone in a stateroom have their

own drink package as opposed to sharing.

Anyway, the waiter reminded the passenger that this wasn't allowed, and eventually things got

very heated. First, the upset passenger reportedly dumped a beer over a waiter's head. Now,

you'll notice I said a waiter and not the waiter, and that's because he did this to the wrong

waiter, not the one who was trying to prevent him from breaking the rules. The passenger did

eventually attack his actual server. He beat him with a glass, which eventually broke, and did

what sounds like some pretty severe damage to the waiter's face.
