Episode 81 is my favorite episode of the year. It was such a fun and charming conversation.
We chat with Rachel Fletcher about recovery, sobriety, and climbing mountains. Rachel shares her story of recovery and how she has gone from losing her dad to suicide at age 5, to a fulfilling life of recovery and climbing mountains. We discuss also her tattoo shop, her treatment center "Moving Mountains Recovery", and the modalities used to help individuals who attend. We also discuss the importance of peer support and our own individual growth.
Rachel Fletcher has been in recovery for over 5 years. She owns a large tattoo studio in South Florida, and is the community liaison for Moving Mountains Recovery. She is also an avid Rock climber who advocates for its benefits with your recovery and mental health.
Her website can be found here . Her email is mailto:[email protected].Moving Mountains Recovery can be reached at (888) 594-4925.

1:03.6 | experience with her sobriety, and how she now runs like two programs for people in recovery, |
1:09.9 | and how it goes with climbing. It was just an amazing episode. The energy that we had, I really |
1:15.2 | felt great connection, not that I didn't feel connections with others, but it was a great |
1:19.9 | episode. It was, as someone told me, very friendly and made them feel like we could go to |
1:27.5 | get to recovery, and it would be easy for them, and that gave an idea of how the environment |
1:33.2 | could be. So I hope you enjoyed the episode. |
1:36.8 | Episode 62 is another subject that's really near and dear to my heart, which is sobriety and |
1:41.5 | recovery. I haven't really talked about it in a full episode since probably Episode 5 with David |
1:46.8 | Bassano. I know that me and Pat Rice and other guests have talked about it here and there about |
1:51.9 | recovery and sobriety, but I haven't dedicated a full episode to it, and Rachel Fletcher is someone |
1:56.5 | that reached out to me via LinkedIn. She was listening to my podcast fairly regularly, which is |
