His convictions included possession of marijuana, possession of burglary tools, and motor

vehicle theft. Additionally, he was wanted by the Columbus Police

for an aggravated assault charge

for a shooting in which the victim was severely wounded.

On November 13, 2005,

Michael Register shot a man who was trying to buy drugs from him,

striking him in the head, his hand, and his leg.

He was able to flee on foot before being apprehended.

He laid low in St. Thomas before returning to Georgia in May of 2007,
