Daniel just got back from a seven-night cruise aboard MSC.ivia. It was a Florida-Bahamas cruise out of Brooklyn, their private island Ocean K, and of course, Port Canaveral. And he joins us on the line to talk all about it. How you doing, buddy? Hey, Doug, so happy to be back with you again. Yeah, excited to hear this review of Meravilla. You were up there in the yacht club.

So before we get to the ship itself, which is actually sailing out of Brooklyn, as I mentioned,

not New York City. Give me some pre-cruised thoughts. What made you want to take this seven-night cruise out of Brooklyn because you're like a stone's throw away from the Manhattan

cruise terminal? Well, I had never done an MSC cruise, and I have heard so much controversy about MSC.

Some people swear by it.

Some people are not so pleased with it, and I think they made a sort of a grand entrance or a splash in North America,

specifically in the New York City area recently.

So I wanted to try it and I booked it maybe like nine months or ten months prior as a solo getaway for myself and it's close to home.

And it was a new cruise line. So that was my reasoning. Now, when you're sailing these cruise lines,

you normally like, when you do Norwegian,

you normally are jumping up there in the haven.

Of course, you did the yacht club on this one.

Did you initially book the yacht club, or was that, like, a cabin you booked, and

then you, like, bid it up for it?
