This is Comic Geekspeak episode 807, the Emerald City Comic-Con tapes.

And welcome to the show. This is Peter. Sorry, this is late. The week just got away from me, and I had to piece together this

episode, the few clips that we have from Emerald City, and, oh, who am I kidding? It was St. Patty's

this week, and you know how that goes. So, this is our little quick episode direct from the Emerald City Comic-Con in Seattle.

That was last weekend, March 13th and 14th.

We'll have a little bit more of a wrap-up when we resume our episodes this upcoming week,

and we have more people in the studio to talk.

And if you've never been to Emerald City Comic-Con and you're in the area, or even in

a quick flight to Seattle, you're really missing out on what I think we all agree.

It was Brian, Pants, Adam and I who went out.

And we pretty much agreed that Emerald City Comic-Con is the Heroes' Con of the West Coast. And by saying that, we mean there were a lot of artists.

The show is built around the artists, not physically, but just in an idea sense.

They're all accessible.

Tons of great shopping.

And the city is just amazing.

We had a great time in Seattle.

From doing all the touristy things to the restaurants.

Also, just all the nightlife. It's a really fun Comic-Con, a true Comic-Con, in a really fun city.

Jim DeMonkus is the organizer, his staff, Jim, everybody.

They put on a fantastic show.

We had a great, great time.
