All right, welcome back Chelsea fans to another postseason edition of the London Blue Podcast.

I am of course Nick with Jesse and Abdullah for our second of our two postseason episodes.

We're going to kind of go through the season in review, talk about the highs, talk about the lows,

kind of preview what might be to come next season and all that jazz and do it in some depth and with some humor.

That would be good.

But first and foremost, just wanted to quickly say because we don't have at least an officially scheduled normal episode of London as blue this week.

It's a lot of season reviews and then we're heading into keeps on low next week that the official sale of Chelsea football club to Todd Bully,

and clear that capital is officially announced like 20, 30 minutes ago before we're recording.

This has been done for a few days, but of course they waited till the last possible minute to announce before everything kind of became official.

We are of course excited for the new chapter and the continued investment in the Chelsea women's team and Kings Meadow.

But they put out a statement themselves, so I'll just kind of read their words and have you kind of take that in.

Bully and Clearlake are committed to investing in key areas that will extend and enhance Chelsea's competitiveness including the redevelopment of Stanford Bridge,

further investment in the academy, the women's team and Kings Meadow Stadium.

The owners will also continue the important work on the Chelsea foundation.

I believe this is from Todd Bully.

We are honored to become the new custodians of Chelsea football club.

We are all in 100% every minute of every match.

Our vision as owners is clear wants to make the fans proud along with our commitment to developing the use squad and acquiring the best talent.

Our plan of action is to invest in the club for long term for the long term and build on Chelsea's remarkable history of success.

I personally want to thank the minister's officials, British government and the Premier League for other work and making this happen.
