1:00.7	I'm Aaron. Today we're talking about season 8 episode 1 titled Winterfell. It was the only
1:06.4	title I could find for it. I think it's officially on HBO now. What do you think of the opener for
1:13.3	the final season? A fitting title I think. It's the quintessential setup episode. We pretty much
1:22.1	knew everything that was happening. You just have to wait for everyone else to catch up to where
1:27.2	the viewer is at. You know what I think about reunions and bringing everybody together.
1:31.8	If you didn't have the scenes, a lot of people were like, oh nothing happened. But if you didn't
1:36.9	have the scenes we had, people would be like, what the fuck? John and Ari is going to get together
1:40.7	and I could have an emotional. You have to do it and I think you want to do it. But if since the
1:45.7	show has been off for a year and a half, I see some frustration about like, well, geez, nothing
1:50.1	happened. But I thought it was really good. There's a couple things that bothered me the first
1:55.2	time I watched it that didn't bother me as much after I thought about it. I think I've maybe
1:59.3	talked myself into thinking the show runners are doing something different. We can fight about that
2:03.1	later. There's a couple things like like the like the graduate stuff, pretty clunky. All the
2:09.1	Kings landing stuff I think was pretty clunky. And they're just a check off a couple of boxes
2:16.7	that I'm particularly care about. But overall, yeah, I thought it was pretty good. What about you?
2:20.5	Yeah, I mean, I think the abbreviated season is probably going to hurt the storytelling overall.
