My very good friends, we do not live in a heavily gimmicked era of professional wrestling.

Yes, there are plenty of characters out there who have outlandish, wild, colourful and wacky characters.

I'm talking to Wyatt Six in WW or the Triangle of Madness perhaps over in AEW or Mr. Aguana.

He's got a little lizard, who doesn't love that?

But in general, gimmicks have not necessarily died off completely, but definitely decreased in prominence over the years to where most people are best described as personalities rather than outlandish gimmicks these days. And that's totally fine. That's the natural evolution of wrestling. But when we sit here and we

talk about wrestlers that need new gimmicks in 2025, which is exactly what I'm here to discuss today.

These guys need to cook some stuff up, is what I'm saying for these people. Maybe it's not as

drastic as it was in the past, right? I'm not going to sit here and tell you that entry number one

should turn

into a prehistoric dinosaur or anything like that. Maybe it could be a turn, maybe it's a

subtle character change, just something new, something to freshen them up because if they're

not stale already, they're certainly on the path to getting there. But with all that in mind,

with all the blurb out of the way, I'm Andy from What Culture,

and these are eight, not 10, eight, WW Stars who desperately need new gimmicks.

Number eight, Austin Theory.

And if you want to start off with somebody who's just crying out for a new direction in

WWE, I don't think there

are many better places to start or many that more people would agree with than Austin Ferry.

Look, his tag team with Grayson Waller, Aitown Down Under, WWE were teasing that split

for like a year, maybe even longer, and then it finally happened while Austin is off television injured.

And it was off camera, Grayson Waller, who's now Big G, okay, hanging out with a new day.

They did it without theory on television.
