eight different methods you can use to make the soil in your

garden more fertile, more productive, and a better home for the plants that you're

growing. So let's get right into it. Let's not dilly-dally around.

Number one, and the most obvious one of all time, add organic matter.

Add manure for nitrogen.

All livestock manure can be valuable additions to soil.

They have a ton of nitrogen, and their nutrients are readily available to plants and soil organisms. In fact, many argue that manure's,

So adding manure of all kind is a really good choice.

Now if you don't have access to it you can always buy it in you can buy

chicken manure cow manure horse manure etc and add that to your garden. Number two

composting that another obvious one, right? Composting is the best way you can get fertility

back into your soil. So it's a, number one, it's a way to recycle waste on your property right so your food waste and the leaf and grass and branch waste that's falling on your property can be repurposed, broken down,

decomposed and turned into beautiful black rich compost, which you can then add to

Number three, tap into the power. to your like I've already talked about. But if you do homestead, you do have chickens on your property,

one thing you can do is let your chickens run through your garden. And what they'll do is they will not only

clean up certain pests that you may not want in there, but they will

scratch through the top of your soil mixing it in well and incorporating a lot of the fertility that you've added to the top into the top couple
