Eight prayers the Holy Spirit loves to hear. You got to pray these often.

Now when it comes to prayers, the Bible tells us that the prayer of the upright is one of the

six things that God delights in.

Proverbs 15, 8.

There's some pretty famous prayers of people that have been praying before us.

And I want to mention few of them before I mention these eight prayers

that the Holy Spirit loves to hear.

For example, John Knox said,

give me Scotland or I will die. And in fact, Queen Mary of Scots said, I fear John Knox

prayers more than all the assembled armies of Europe. We saw that there was a St. Thomas

and he prayed a prayer that grant me a Lord, a mind to know you, a heart to seek you, wisdom to find you, conduct pleasing to you,

faithful perseverance in waiting for you, and a hope of finally embracing you.

The famous prayer that most of you have heard, saying Augustine, who said,

Oh Lord, you have made us for yourself and our hearts are restless until they find rest in you.

Francis of Assisi said, Lord, make me an instrument of your peace. Where there is hatred, let me so love.

And the famous serenity prayer by theologian, Reinhold, that said, God,

grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, and courage to change things I can,

and the wisdom to know the difference. That's a powerful prayer. So there's a lot of great people

who prayed great prayers. Something I want to mention to you. Not every prayer has the same effect.
