Welcome to the Daily Blade. The Word of God is described as the sword of the spirit, the primary

spiritual weapon in the Christian's armor against the forces of evil. Your hosts are Joby Martin and

Kyle Thompson, and they stand ready to equip men for the fight. Let's sharpen up.

We're wrapping up this week by wrapping up Nehemiah four. So up

0:22.3

up to this point, we've seen a lot of drama and opposition from the overwhelming

0:26.1

sadness while in King Artaxerxes presence to the violent opposition in Jerusalem. This has not

1:11.8

sword strapped at his side while he built. The man who sounded the trumpet was beside me. And I said to the

1:17.4

nobles and to the officials and to the rest of the people, the work is great and widely spread,

1:22.0

and we are separated on the wall far from one another. In the place where you hear the sound of

1:26.9

the trumpet rally to us there,

1:28.9

our God will fight for us. So we labored at the work, and half of them held the spears from the

1:33.8

break of dawn until the stars came out. I also said to the people at the time, let every man and his

1:39.3

servant pass the night within Jerusalem that they may be a guard for us by night and may labor by day.
