I'm John Batch with my good colleagues, Bill Rajon, David Ode, both whom contribute to

We come to Lebanon, Hezbollah, decap during the war. And right now, the presentation

Hezbollah is making is either disarming or wants to rearm. It's either part of the Lebanon government

or not. But what is it learning? What is it watching for in the Gaza Seaas Fire? David, do they have any lessons here?

Of course, there are many lessons here. I think, if anything, the Gaza Seas Fire and Hamas' narrative

appears to me to be emulating that of Hezbollah, you know, immediate insistence on

not disarming, while also putting conditions on discussing disarmament,

not even, okay, if this condition precedent happens, then we will disarm.

No, we will, if this condition precedent happens, then we will discuss our arms.

Even that narrative they seem to have taken from Hezbollah.

So they've talked about, you know, and these conditions precedents seem to be, you know,

it's not impossible, been very far-fetched, very far down into the future.

So Hamas is adapting the Hezvila playbook, which, you know, makes sense.

They are allies that they've been in contact for decades with each other.
