We intentionally held off recording this week's episode because we knew Ohio State's decision

on Urban Meyer would be coming down sometime middle of the week and it did on Wednesday but not

before a roughly 12 hour board of trustees meeting with Ohio State's Board with the President with the

investigators I believe it was around 9 PM Eastern that they finally came out and

announced a three-game suspension for urban Meyer he'll miss the first three games of the

season though he will be back at practice after the first game. Gene Smith

the AD also suspended for 17 days. Now I want to just note here we can talk about this how this kind of

unfolded but they put out a very brief summation of their report right

before the press conference that said basically this investigation in

regards to that 2015 incident with Zach Smith found that basically they

kind of excused Er Urban Meyer and Jane Smith.

They were supposed to have reported that to Ohio State's compliance

office, although it was the police that actually contacted them.
