I want to do today talk about ten truths about Trump, and there is just so much going on out there.

I spent some time over this past weekend with a friend who was a

never-trumper, also a radio talk show host, and one with whom, although we have been friends

for a long time,

we have ardently disagreed, fervently fought over the Trump issue. As regular listeners to the show know, I began supporting Donald Trump early 2016,

about a year and a half ago already.

So at that time, or at that time, my friend was already regarding Trump as a big joke.

And as Trump began to move closer and closer towards the nomination, the fervor with which my friend fought against Trump,

the frenzied feelings that he experienced and spoke about against Trump just grew in intensity, all along my enthusiasm

for Donald Trump remained exactly as it had been. And I clarify that when I speak about

the 10 truths, the very first truth I want to look at in the list of ten truths about Donald Trump.

The very first one is Donald Trump is not George Washington.

Neither is he Thomas Jefferson, neither is he John Adams, but I'll tell you something. He is absolutely an L.B. Johnson or a John Fitzgerald Kennedy. He fits right in there. And the jury is still out, but I wouldn't be at all surprised.

It could happen.
