Living in small towns and rural areas my entire life, I really do love sharing these types

of stories.

There's just something about hearing other people's perspectives and experiences in similar

areas that I grew up in.

I myself saw all kinds of strange things while running through the woods playing with my

A Strange Set of Encounters by Brooke F.

Hi swamptweller, my name is Brooke, I am a 22 year old female, and the two short encounters

I came to share today are from when I was about 9 or 10 years old.

Growing up in rural Virginia was peaceful.

For the refoxes, coyotes, bears, deer, and the usual wildlife on the east coast, yet I

was never afraid of the animals, always way more fearful of what we don't know is out

there.

I've always been in tune with the supernatural, but these encounters terrified me.

The first story I would like to share, I was out in our backyard giving our dogs some

food.

We had many dogs at the time as it was a second source of income from my family to sell
