In fact, recognizing that many people won't like you, setting strong boundaries, having a strong sense of personal values, and ultimately contributing to others is the path to this happiness and this balance that so many of us are seeking.

And this all started with a tweet that has been just going around by Alex Hormozi, who is a business influencer.

And I want to read the tweet to you.

And then I want to go through five mindset switches we can make in our business that can give us momentum this week.

So the tweet goes like this.

First, he lays out that in 2014, he was doing $600,000 in revenue.

In 2024, he points out that his portfolio of businesses is doing $250 million of revenue.

I'm not going to dig into the details of that.

The point is, is Alex Hormozi's been on a heater for 10 years.

Fair enough.

And then he says, do you want to know the secret?

And I definitely want to know the secret to that.

And he says, no distractions for 10 years.

No meaningless purchases for 10 years. no meaningless purchases for 10 years, no clubbing

for 10 years, no fantasy football for 10 years, no friends weddings for 10 years.

You better start now because it takes way longer than you think.
