perseverance is a little overrated.

Because you typically are going to have to change and tweak your offer, your ICP things,

until you find something that has a tailwind and that people are like, yeah, that's it.

What's your update, man? It's been a couple weeks since you've been on the show.

New Year started off terrible, if I'm being honest.

Oh, wow. Here we go. Life update. Wonderful, wonderful vacation for a Christmas break. We took our camper up to Sedona.

So I'll give us some details about that trip. But I said the New Year started off awful, and I'm not lying about that. This is the truth.

Because, as you know, maybe some people of the show know, I love fireworks. And we found ourselves on the road

traveling in our camper. We did a little stopover in the middle of Texas, and I couldn't find

any fireworks to light off on New Year's Eve while we're in our camper. So it really started

off terrible, Dan, and I'm hoping it just goes up from here. I have

high expectations that it might. New Year's Eve, minute one, I'm standing in my front yard

watching my neighbors trying to burn down the neighborhood, essentially. Because where I come from,

you would get arrested for this brash display of lawlessness. But here in Texas, it is a competition to set off the most incredible private fireworks show.

And so it's intense.

So then I spent the next 45 minutes holding my son, who I think he thought the neighborhood was going to burn down.

As he should.

It's a decent instinct, I would say so.

It is our right, though, I remind everybody, it's our right to be able to shoot off fireworks.

And yeah, living in California for several years, I was deprived of that right.
