lovers enough time to decide how they want to play things.

As for this episode, I must say I was overwhelmed by the

positive response to the short story we began last episode with, so I'd like to read a

longer one now. It's called The House with No One in it, and I wrote it around

Halloween in response to finding out my own dog Dusty would have to be put down in the not-too-distant

future. He actually lived for three more years, but this is what my brain spat out

when I meditated on that impending loss. Dusty is represented by Casey, the little brother,

as well as making a cameo as the name of a bicycle.

It's a scary story. It's brutal, in fact. It owes a lot to I have no mouth and I must scream and

the Jurassic Bark episode of Futurama.

So if you're not into horror or having your heartbroken or you just want to get to the

interview already, the story wraps up at about 45 minutes in.
