So staff writer Richard Sims just returned from a seven-night cruise aboard Norwegian escape. It went from Manhattan,

New York City, down to Bermuda and back. It was also a Halloween sailing. He joined us on the line.

How you doing, man? I'm great. How are you? I can't complain. So here we go. Jumping right into

this one. You are no longer living in New York City.

So you had to commute a little bit to get to the cruise terminal.

Is New York still your, even though you live like three hours away, is that still your home-based cruise port, we'll say?

Definitely.

Because even though it's three hours away, it's three hours in a mona cruise as opposed to going,

you know, say two hours, getting on a plane, flying somewhere. So I still prefer it. It was also

really nice this time because for the first time, maybe ever, I actually was going with someone,

not sharing a room, but my next door neighbor and I were talking and she was kind of like, geez, I don't have anything planned.

You know, why don't we book a cruise? And that's how this came up. It was sort of a last minute thing.

We booked much closer than I normally do. We booked about maybe, I think about 70 days before the sailing, and she drove us in.

So that meant I didn't have to deal with a car

service or anything which was awesome well that was my next question so you normally get the car

service but parking there did she park at the pier and do you remember about what that cost per night
