Summary

In this episode, we discuss one of America's oldest pastimes: cannibalism. Alfred (or Alferd if you ask him) Packer was an early settler in the Western Frontier which was essentially one hard time after another, and that wasn't helped by his general unlikeableness and all-around shady behavior. In 1874, when he led a group of men through the harsh Colorado winter wilderness against the warnings of the Indigenous tribe who had welcomed them in, all the men ended up dead, except for ol' Packer....
