Welcome back Chelsea fans to another episode of the London Is Blue podcast. I am making a triumphant return to the Blue Royalty show after a transfer window off, but I'm back. They brought me back into the team.

They needed some depth and here I am, but Abdullah off for Ramadan celebrating with his family. So we brought back Jesse, of course, the anchor of the show. And Jesse, we have a special guest to kind of help fill the Abdullah sized hole that we have right now in the show.

Yeah, it's great. We've got Harry Edwards head today, a freelance football writer at Squarker. His Twitter says he's available for takes on Chelsea. So we thought that's exactly what we need. I'll take some Chelsea. So yeah, Harry, thanks for coming on.

Thanks for having me. I feel under a lot of pressure now that you've built me as the Abdullah replacement, but I'll do my best.

Look, everyone gets a debut. It'll be a winning debut, which is nice. So we have a lot of really fun stuff to talk about with today show. Obviously we'll be covering everything that happened with Tottenham 1 Chelsea 3, a huge match in WSL season.

Topic 1, the nightmarish start to the game, which is no understatement. Topic 2, MAH is changing stuff per usual. And then Topic 3, an absolutely resolute performance in second half that led Chelsea to victory. So as always, guys, we have to get into this with a three word match review. Jesse, what are your thoughts on this one?

I'm going to go with losing my mind because that is truly how I felt for the large portions of this game. Yeah, it was a tough one. I'd like, I was saying to Nick before he started recording. I'd like, made my peace with the fact that we weren't going to win the league. And then Sam cut a score. And I was like, it's fine. We're going to win the league. So it's been a roller coaster remotions for me this afternoon.

Harry, what about you? I had the same kind of fault path. And I was thinking, how can I make a positive spin over a negative result? And then scored some of my first fault was to the man for Wolfscore. But then Jesse Fleming did Jesse Fleming thing. So I'm just going to go start Jesse Fleming.

That three easy words to implement into a system. There's no doubt about it. I close out this section with fighting through adversity. I mean, I can't remember a match where so many things.

But some self-inflicted, some not win against Chelsea. And the character and fight that this team showed today was absolutely fantastic. Dan, from the top rope out of nowhere, a ghost entry into the show goes with game of gifts because they were a few notable moments in today's match that are now in living forever in gift form. Jesse, that I think we will probably touch on as we go through your script here.

I've got a shout out my friend Becky, who was doing the socials for after because every time I tweeted saying, someone give me X moment from the game. She just did it. And I was like, this is great. I just want this like throughout my life, basically a gift server.

Can we put her on retainer like what are we doing?

Absolutely, absolutely. So look, we're going to get into it. We played Tottenham. It was, it was the, I think the long awaited away match, right? That I think was supposed to happen in December or January.

I think first days is the one that spent we've been waiting months full. This was just our original.

Either way, we haven't played them in its April 24th of this season. So that's pretty abnormal as scheduling goes. Obviously as COVID maybe took the home match out a couple of times. So this obviously in WSL location, the hive.

I have thoughts on score line spurs one Chelsea three goals from unfortunately Sophie Engel was officially given the own goal on the 15th minute, Guru writing with some absolute sauce in the 27th minute.

Sam Kerr with a wonderful header in the 71st minute and Jesse Fleming with an absolute pile driver in the 90th plus five minute mark.

It was a stunning goal that took some shine off of Guru's goal, which is crazy to think about.

But Jesse, obviously the lineup looked a little bit different from most of the match than than what we have here at the start. But if you want to get into it, that'd be great.
