A few days after I did this podcast, I went to this conference about human rights, but

there was stuff on crypto and Bitcoin is really important because it's literally the currency

of revolution.

If you are a dissident or an activist, you can't use your country's currency because

they'll track your movements.

So big point is how they accept donations often.

And then the NFT thing came up because it's really hard for some of these activists and

dissidents to get money to support their cause.

With an NFT, one of the small aspects in the business model of NFT is if you sell a

work of art and then someone re-sells it and then someone after that re-sells it again,

you get a royalty.

So unlike in the art world, we're by sell painting for a dollar, but then someone sells

a 10 years later for $100 million.

I don't get a piece of that if I'm the artist.

So that's an interesting aspect of these NFTs, whether it's art or some other part of the

So I was explaining this to some of these artists and they were like, oh, this could be a good
