we're on one of our excursions aren't we James?

We are, we're in the Atrium of the Imperial War Museum.

Yep. And so that's why if it sounds a little bit kind of sort of echoey echoey,

that would be why. And always just a great joy to be here.

I mean the hours I've spent at this place is ridiculous.

Yep. Not least in their reading rooms, which used to be in the lovely old tower

at the top of the building. And then a few years ago they changed it.

You know how a different reading room. Which actually if I'm brutally honest,

might not be as aesthetic people as in but from a working point of view, is better.

And there you, that's what I kind of, you know, be pouring through diaries and memoirs.

Because after all.

People who've come here as a, as a tourist, as a casual observer,

in off the street in the rain, it's an Atrium with a Spitfire dangling in it

and now a harrier and a V1 and a V2.

And a V1, too. We're both both the, both the vengeance weapons.

Yep.

You might be familiar with that, but this is a working museum.

It's a working archive.

Yes. And we have somebody who works at the museum.
