The Sixers at one point in game five on Wednesday night held an 83 to 58 lead with 319 left in the third quarter.

All they needed to do was by a couple minutes there without Juell and Bede in the game,

maybe even have him rest in the fourth quarter.

They could have gone to Atlanta up three games to two

and rightfully asserted their place in the Eastern Conference finals.

That fourth quarter display that they put on there was one of the worst periods of basketball, one of the darkest periods in this franchise's in the lifetime of most of the people listening to this podcast.
