She's been around since. So excited to get this nine-night review from Scott. But before we get to Scott, we'll check in with staff writer Richard Sims. Hey, Richard. Hey, Doug. Sad news out of Viking cruises.

It's always difficult reporting on a death like this. And one of the reasons it's so hard is because

you know that there's a tight bond between crew members on a ship.

And it's especially true when it's a smaller ship like this was.

This was on the Viking Mars.

They were docked in Scotland.

And according to the website, Crew Center, the man was a 40-year-old Filipino national who fell while he was securing

the gangway. He was airlifted to a hospital, but later succumbed to his injury, so he did not

survive. Like I said, it took place while they were docked in Scotland, and Vikings said that

they're working with local authorities to ascertain the circumstances under which this accident happened. But, you know, it's not like, I don't think there's any reason to think that it's anything more than that, just a awful tragic accident. But they did have a nice little ceremony on board so that, like said you're you're working on a ship like that

you get very close you live in tight quarters you work together and they were very very

respectful of that but as always we send our thoughts out to those who you know happened to

either be on the ship or who worked on the ship

or knew the man who passed away.

And NCL makes a return to one Mid-Atlantic port.
