Robbie Earl and this is our final World Cup special podcast and we have a winner Robio my friend it's France France

beat Croatia 4-2 in the World Cup final on Sunday another excellent game, lots of drama, lots of things to talk about.

But France are champions. What's your immediate reaction to that?

Well done to France. to that

we don't think anybody question the ability we question whether

whether this can be a team whether they can come together

or can we be giving to each other. Can they stand each other's company for six

seven weeks as you have to in World Cup competition? Can they find a way answer questions and mature and grow up?

The answer is yes.

And just on the opposite and this takes absolutely nothing away from the French victory.

I also felt Rob more as a game went on but even before the game kicked off and

we did last podcast and I said I've been

France to get a few goals I just felt that this might be a game too far for

Croatia partly in terms of physicality just what they've been through over the last 7, 10 days with

extra time with with penalty kick, with penalty kicks the emotion that that happens physically and more so mentally I just

thought if this team go behind I'm not sure how they pull themselves out and I think a

couple of times yesterday I've been started the game really well and having good possession

when they went to the well unfortunately it was a little bit dry it just I thought the tournament

caught up with a team and a nation that's not as deep, it's not as much quality as France and

French quite rightly were crown champions.

Yeah, I think the part, the French part I think is well said.
