My name is Emily Yoshida. I am here in Los Angeles and along with me are Tess Lynch and Molly Lambert. And we're back, I think out of our time warp officially. I feel like I'm shaking the time warp dust off of me or something.

Thanks to everybody for sticking with us through our hiatus.

We've been airing some of our episodes that we did during the hiatus over the last couple weeks.

And now we are somewhat living in the present.

We're catching up. Almost.

It's exciting.

We're almost back to the future.

I love to be.

And I mean, given what we're talking about this week, we will still probably feel like we're

in a time warp because everything is so fucking weird right now.

Life comes at you pretty fast on night crawl.

But first, and again, this is some old news, but I stuck this on our dock like weeks ago.

And I think we would be remiss if we didn't talk about the new leech on the block.

New leech on the block.

This is a leech that was discovered in near Washington, D.C., inviting all sorts of easy jokes.

There's a, it's a coastal species of leech that has 59 teeth and, I believe, three jaws.
