I'm recording this in the street just walking down the street. I'm going to explain in a moment,

but I wonder what it sounds like. I expect you can hear lots of different noises going on

around me. You know, the noises of the street. But, so I thought I would

quickly record an episode to let you know that I'm, I'm still alive still alive okay Luke's English podcast still exists

And I just want to give you a bit of an update on what's going on and have a bit of a ramble

I'm going to explain why I'm recording this outside in a moment as people walk

past me looking at me wondering what I'm doing. You can hear actual French being spoken by actual French people. Now I have other

episodes in the pipeline actually and I was how noisy is that probably very noisy.

It's just these are the conditions in which I have to record at the moment.

That wasn't French. I'm going to explain in a moment. Anyway, so I have other

episodes in the pipeline and I was hoping to upload one of them this week but for one reason or another

that's not going to be possible. So I've decided to record this one quickly and upload it quickly. That's the idea. I'm doing

some serious multitasking. I'm just recording this on my handheld recorder obviously,

but I'm not at home because I can't record at home.

So I'm just in the street reading some notes from my phone. In fact, I'm actually on the way to the Laundrette.

You're thinking, what's the Laund Luke the laundrette that's an English word

Actually sounds like a French word but it's the word we use in English to describe the place where you go to wash your clothes

if you don't have a washing machine at home. And well we do have a washing machine at home at the moment, but it doesn't work.

The drama of our, the long running saga of our apartment and the different appliances in it continues.
