I think that generally speaking it's a dangerous thing to be too convinced you're on the side of virtue and that's difficult because of course a lot of good things in the world have been done by people who have a very strong moral vision about making the world a better place.

What tends to happen here is that the people who have that sense of virtue and goodness in the right way don't tend to be ideological.
