And welcome to the show. In this episode, we're going to cover the Marvel's Project, issue four.

We've gone over the last three issues, and we'll be spilering this issue.

Before we get started on issue four here, we have some feedback here on issue three.

Brax says, as I mentioned in the thread for episode two, the sky devils, are from a comic strip K4 and the sky devils.

It ran in Daring Mystery Comics number two and number

four and five. Spid, as this is to say, I have to admit I am not one of those guys who

has clamored for Marvel to explore their golden age past. However, this series has done a great

job of mining that history and making it relevant. This will probably read better as a trade, if only to get the supplemental material,

so you can easily find out who all these people are.

This work really begs for a deluxe trade treatment with Brubaker's notes to show the background research.

Wood says,

R.E. the Angel as narrator.

Brew said he chose Angel to narrate because he and Kesar are the only two Martin Goodman 30s pulp heroes to migrate over to the comics world, and this is an homage to the significance of that.

And Z. Scott, he says, it's really cool to hear your love for golden age heroes and stories.

Maybe it's just different over here in Europe because that era isn't so in, for lack of a better word. I've always had a soft spot for it, though, since I was a kid. Strange, I know. And it's shown

in pretty much everything I do.

The Golden Age has slowly been raising its head.

I can't wait to see what appears.
