because I know you're running really busy.

Oh, you have no idea. We're going to have a great time, Pat. Thank you for having me on the show, my friend. This will be a lot of fun.

Rod, why don't you tell everybody a little bit about yourself so they get to know you better?

Sure, sure, sure. So, you know, I immigrated to this country when I was six years old from Holland with my brother

Albert and my mother's Vancha and we ended up in Denver, Colorado where I lived for 30 years and we didn't have much money. In fact, I wore clothes from the goodwill all the way through junior high school. You know, we ate expired food. My mom, you know, bought powdered milk because that's all we could afford and you know but we

had love and but the thing the thing that was inspiring for me was my mom's

work ethic she babysat kids so that we'd have enough money to eat. And what got me

turned on to real estate was when I was 14, she bought the house across the street from us

for $30,000. When I was 17 she told me that it had gone up $20,000.

She'd made $20,000 in her sleep and so I decided I'm getting into real estate.

I'm like what you made 20 grand you didn't do anything and so I got
