We'll share our opinions on new releases by Lana Del Rey, Tool, and more. We'll also bid farewell to musicians we lost recently, including Daniel Johnston and Rick Ocassick

of the cars.

Greg, I'm astounded.

Then in this new era of the recording business, you know, there's still this tradition

of everybody releases albums the last couple of weeks of September

the beginning of October to be eligible for Grammys and the Christmas Rush.

Is anybody getting CDs for Christmas anymore? I thought everybody streamed.

A allegorical energy. That is a little bit of the title track from the long and I mean long awaited

fifth album by tool Fear Inoculum 13 years since the last Tool album

Greg and some people have been eagerly awaiting. This group has a devoted cult following since its formation in Los Angeles

1990 around vocalist Maynard James Keenan.

They are considered all four members virtuosic musicians.

The lineup is the same since they had a base change early on.

You know, it was really Lala Paluza Mach one. Back in the 90s, 1993, the launch this group to

superstardum. After a debut EP, the album Under Toe came out, it went platinum. They won over the Lala Palusa audience, followed up in 96, again at the height of the alternative era,

but just as it was beginning to wane and lead us to the new metal doldrums.
