Theodore McCarach, criminally charged with sexual assault of teenager. Now, for the past

two years, people have been saying, why isn't this creep behind bars? We even did a little

Photoshop here and put them behind bars. Why isn't this embezzler, heretic, child molester,

predator on adults as well? In the case of two priests that we have documented, why is

this man still walking around in free society? It has to do with the statutes of limitations

and they found a way to criminally charge McCarach. It just happened and I'm going to go over

the story for you briefly. We don't know much more, but I'm going to share with you what

we do have. I'm going to be reading from the Washington Post version of it. There's

also the Boston Globe, which is the original. Here is the opening paragraph. Former Cardinal

Theodore McCarach was criminally charged Wednesday with allegedly sexually assault

in a 16 year old boy during a wedding reception at Wellesley College in Massachusetts in 1974,

according to the Boston Globe. The charges make McCarach who is former Archbishop of

Washington, DC, the highest ranking Catholic official in the country to face criminal charges

for sex abuse. McCarach, 91, was once a highly respected Catholic leader before allegations

of his behavior were made public in 2018. I'll pause here. This is the Catholic summer

of shame, 2018. And it was once these things started going public in New York. Then Archbishop

Carlisle Maria Vigano issued his 11 page testimony and things began as snowball. The Washington

Post, this is the article by Sarah Bailey, goes on to say, and he was later expelled from

the priesthood. It was long assumed McCarach would not be criminally charged, though some

have filed civil lawsuits in New York and New Jersey alleging McCarach sexually abused
