As you come to the close of another year, I am inviting you to pause for a moment to own and honor 2022. I know pausing and taking a moment to yourself in this busy season might sound like a ridiculous suggestion. WHO HAS TIME TO PAUSE?! Perhaps you pause as you sip your coffee today. Perhaps you pause while taking a shower. Perhaps you pause as you walk the dog. Perhaps you pause for a few minutes before you go to bed. Whenever & however you choose to pause, I want you to think through the following questions: What am I most proud of from 2022? When did I show up as the person I most want to become in 2022? What did I learn about myself in 2022? In this episode, I walk you through these questions and how you can frame them in order to get the most out of them. I share my personal answers with you so you can see the value in looking back before you move forward. 0:52.6	Hello, Shameless moms. Happy Monday. Okay, it's just a few days before Christmas, if you're
0:59.0	listening to this in live time, which means it's that extra special hectic time of year where
1:03.4	you're hoping for the magic and waiting for the magic, but it's all still very, like,
1:07.2	wild and a little bit panicky. So if you're in it, I'm in it with you. And I have to tell
1:12.2	you like behind the scenes, this is the second time I'm recording this episode because I recorded
1:16.6	the whole thing yesterday. And it was rather fantastic if I do say so myself and lost the audio.
1:22.9	It's the only time in 712 episodes that this has ever happened that I went to save it. It wouldn't
1:28.4	save. I ended up having to shut down my recording program, restart it, and it was gone. And so it's,
1:34.1	like, it felt like Santa was laughing at me a little bit. If I'm being honest, I don't know,
1:37.4	Santa or the Grinch. One of them was like, ha ha, you get to work twice for this. So now I'm recording early the next morning, re-recording,
1:46.2	and hoping I can still bring all the magic to the conversation. And I just share that because
1:51.3	if you're like me, sometimes in this season, it can feel like you can so easily find ways that
1:57.1	the universe is working against you in hectic times. And I'm instead focusing on the fact
2:02.4	that outside my window, there is the sun rising and it is so beautiful. It's a lovely day.
